Community
Community is one of our highest values at The River. Jesus turned the world upside down with His small group of twelve. He taught them to walk in love.
In fact, early Christians met in homes and smaller settings, just as they had seen Jesus do. Although He had many followers, Jesus chose 12 from among them with whom He shared life intimately. And from among those, He selected an even smaller group of three, who surrounded Jesus at critical points throughout His ministry.
For that reason, small groups are at the heart of The River Church. We encourage you to get connected with other followers of Christ, and start to experience real community!
